Funding Your Account

Last Updated:October 16, 2026

PEGMedia uses a prepaid balance to pay for downloads. You add funds to your account ahead of time, and the cost of each download is taken out of your balance automatically.

Before you start

  • You'll need a PEGMedia account.

Note: Community members can download all content for free. You only need a balance if you're not a member of a community and want to download content that isn't sponsored by the producer.

How download costs work

  • Downloads cost $0.25 per GB, up to a maximum of $0.50 per download.

  • There are no subscriptions, contracts, or minimum amounts.

  • Your balance never expires.

  • If your balance is too low to buy an episode, the episode's button reads Add funds to purchase.

1. Open My Funds

On pegmedia.org, click My Funds in the menu. Your current balance is shown at the top of the page.

2. Enter an amount

In the Add funds field, enter the amount you want to add.

3. Complete your payment

Click Proceed to payment and enter your card details on the secure checkout page. You can pay with any major credit or debit card. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your card details are never stored on PEGMedia.

When your payment is complete, your new balance appears on the My Funds page.

Reviewing your transaction history

The Transaction History section of My Funds lists every deposit and download charge, with the date, type, amount, and a note for each.

To keep a copy for budgeting or reconciling, click Export Transactions.

Tips for managing your balance

  • Add larger amounts less often to cut down on individual transactions.

  • Check your balance before queuing a batch of downloads so you aren't interrupted.

  • Review your transaction history regularly to understand your download costs.
